Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites O’Fallon, IL

The place is quite good, nice decor, the staff were very friendly, the room was very nice and comfortable, the beds were large, the bathroom was very well laid out so there was plenty of space, the only downside was the lack of a lock on the bathroom door, but overall a good place. The breakfast was tasty and they filled it up quickly. If anything was missing from the breakfast fridge, it was a very good place with a car charger in the parking lot, and although it's slow, it's much more convenient than other places that don't have one. Everything was excellent.

Great location for visiting Scott airforce base. I come for family but this hotel always has the cleanest rooms and the best included breakfast. All the workers are always helpful and pleasant. I wouldn't stay anywhere else during our trips to the area! And the kids LOVE the pool. Always warm and not to crowded.

Quiet and comfortable. Easy commute to STL for the baseball game. Small but hearty breakfast. Clean room and common areas. Free safe parking.

Positive: I liked the location of the hotel. Negative: Yes, getting calls from the front desk about a complaint from a guest below us. We were only walking to the restroom or to the refrigerator. The guest also used an object of some sort to constantly bang on the ceiling. This action affected our stay.

The hotel was fine aside from a brief outage of hot water. I'm writing this because the door to my room kept getting stuck when left to soft close. Every time the cleaning people came during the day, I would find my room with all my stuff in it left open. I tried contacting the front desk and they said they'd contact the manager, but this issue was never fixed. I was at the hotel for 16 days and it was never fixed. The photos show what my door would look like after I returned from work.
