Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Ocean City

I enjoyed this hotel A LOT. The place was real nice. Clean. It had a nice little gym with clean towels, water and a TV. The rooms and bathroom were nice and spacious. The breakfast buffet … AMAZING, the quantity and quality of the food and the amount of options, just a 10/10. Probably my favourite hotel ever without a doubt.

We stayed here one year ago and had a good experience. This time not as good. We are Marriott platinum and that was not even acknowledged by the gentleman, Erik, checking us in. We were not upgraded with our room selection which happened last year and at other Marriott properties. That’s not even a big deal. The room has clean and the bed was comfortable. The toilet needed to be better bolted to the floor. It rocked when it was at on. I’m a small person so it’s not my weight. The shower had good pressure but it had one temperature only which was HOT!!! No way to adjust. Practically burned my skin. We were only for one night so we didn’t request to move rooms. If a small child was put in the shower it would burn them. This is dangerous. I couldn’t even stand under the stream

Positive: The room was nice with the balcony. Great continental breakfast, free coffee 24 hours, the pool and in walking distance to bars and restaurants. Negative: Had to ask for room to be cleaned and waited 24 hrs after requesting service

Chad and staff went above and beyond to make sure our group had the best experience. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great and every staff member we met was friendly. No bad vibes here! We will definitely be staying here again! Thanks everyone!!

***STAY AWAY*** I'll preface this by saying I travel a lot for work... Rooms: Dated. Not a single USB or USBC plug to be found. 2 tvs in the room, 1 didn't work. When maintenance came up, he said "I don't know what to tell you". Pillows are trash. TV is limited to Netflix. The owners are so cheap, they don't have strong enough internet to support. Netflix had to refresh every 3 minutes, no that's not an exaggeration. Housekeeping: In 10 nights, my room was straightened once, never refreshed. That means I slept on the same sheets all 10 nights and my room was never swept or mopped. I had to go buy clorox wipes just to make sure I kept clean what I could. Gym: Water doesn't work and gym was never cleaned. How do I know? The same wad of towels was in the corner every night i was there. It
