I stayed there in 2019 and it was a great experience. Unfortunately, I would now like to retorn but there is no availability shown for any dates, and there is no contact email or Whatsapp either. Could it be closed?

The staff was very friendly, helpful and pleasant. The room was comfortable, clean and updated. Complimentary breakfast was very good with a large area to sit. The location of the hotel is rough and not attractive at all, but I did not feel unsafe coming back from the subway at night. Subway is two blocks away in either direction, great proximity, can be in Manhattan in 10 minutes. Street parking exists but have to move your car for street cleaning every two days during the week, typical for Queens. (I did not use the hotel's $35/day valet parking service). Overall, I was very comfortable here.

Having originally booked another hotel in Queens, we found ourselves moved to the Fairfield unexpectedly hours before traveling as the hotel we booked had closed for refurbishment.||It was unfortunately very noisy due to being so close to the subway and we only managed to sleep at night after purchasing ear plugs!!! Apart from this problem every thing else about the hotel was really good. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the staff on reception. breakfast was basic but cooked well and free which saved on money. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with a lovely large bed. Bathrooms had hot showers, and fluffy towels.||To sum up apart from the subway noise we had a lovely stay at the Fairfield Inn and enjoyed our week in New York thank you very much!

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times for work, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a decent experience. Every visit has been marked by poor cleanliness, and it’s only gotten worse. Rooms smell musty, surfaces are sticky, and I’ve encountered everything from bug infestations to blood-stained sheets. Yes—blood stains. That’s not just unacceptable, it’s downright nasty. Housekeeping seems either overwhelmed or indifferent, and management hasn’t shown any urgency to fix the ongoing issues. It’s clear this isn’t a one-time slip—it’s a pattern. If you’re desperate and everything else in town is booked, maybe. But if you have any other option, take it. This place is a health hazard masquerading as a hotel.

We've stayed at this hotel twice, and both times were equally pleasant. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the amenities are very good. The breakfasts offer a lot of variety, everything from waffles to oatmeal to eggs and bacon to fruit and yogurt. You can definitely fuel up for a day of sightseeing. The only caveat with breakfast is that EVERYBODY shows up for it, and the lobby is a little short on tables and chairs sometimes. It's best to get downstairs early. We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Everyone from the front desk clerks to the housekeeping folks were helpful and nice. One great benefit of staying here is the hotel's proximity to the subway and Manhattan. It is so easy and quick to get into the city. We found we didn't miss staying in Manhattan at
