Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Longview

Positive: Breakfast and staff Negative: Bad draining shower. Broken washers, pool empty no ac on in hallway. Ac in room horribly loud. Light by TV burned out.

On both days of our recent stay, guests were smoking illegal drugs in the hotel and on the bench right outside the front door. I let the front desk attendant know, but they didn't seem to care!

As a bilateral above knee amputee, the room was great! Plenty of room, bed at wc height. The bathroom is well appointed. Drawbacks which I discussed with the manager(who was amazing) and she said they are getting ready for a full remodel. Suggestions: the fold down bench is great but it's at the back of the tub. The water controls were too far away and open space by the bench sheet is good only to pull in next to the tub sideways. It wasn't very safe. She is going to pass the word to the new owner. She was extremely accommodating! Would I stay there again? Most definitely!

Great location, however the rooms need a little more tighten up, bedspreads has stains. Front desk staff seems if she’s nerves and not sure of what to do. Breakfast suppose to be at 6:30? Nope the young lady said she didn’t like turning the lights on until she’s finished m. It was 6:45am before she finished. But I can say she was nice enough to tell us.

Hotels in this area were selling out fast. We got in late and the evening front desk staff were super friendly. We got 1 of the 4 remaining rooms. It had two queen size beds that were comfortable. The room was a bit small, but it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was the basic things you would expect eggs, sausage, danishes, etc. There was a surprisingly large assortment of toppings for your oatmeal, but the oatmeal was an instant packet. Be careful using the waffle makers as the temperature controls get confused for the timer. People were constantly burning their waffles and filling the room with smoke. The hotel was easy to access, clean, safe and was a decent value. Would recommend staying here if you're in the area
