Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Jonesboro

Everything you would expect from a Hotel staying out of town! Here's what made the review 5 stars... Add complementary VIP treatment from the staff, without the cost. Staff was the best in how they treated us like we were the only thing that mattered, even like we were the only guests there, but the hotel was booked solid! Great place to stay, my family will definitely be using that pool again, I'm sure of it!!!

Positive: Easy access to the interstate. Negative: My original room was not ready at my 3:00 check-in, so I was given another. My new room was clean, but didn’t have a remote; couldn’t use TV. I did receive a remote from the front desk, but it did not work either. There was a dog barking at 6:00am

During the snow storm my vehicle couldn't make it home. I work third shift and got off in the morning. I work close-by and spoke with the employee, Nicole, over the phone, I told her my situation and asked her what time check in was. She was extremely kind and said that I could just come on by whenever I get off of work. When I got there the hotel was really comforting, they had the fireplace going, it was clean, every single employee I spoke with were all so very nice. They offered me breakfast since it was still being served. The room was spacious, clean, the bathroom was large. What really brought everything together was the staff there, this company is very fortunate to have such great employees.

Quiet and clean. Disappointed with some of the amenities though. Pool was icy cold and unusable despite being indoors. Exercise center had an elliptical machine that would not power on. Wi-Fi was very good--capped at 14 mbit/sec but otherwise trouble-free.

The service at this Marriott is outstanding. Every staff member made a point to smile and make me feel welcome. It is a little older than the other Marriott in the area, but it’s clean and the atmosphere makes up for that tenfold. If you were looking for a nice place to stay while you’re visiting Jonesboro for a great prize and great service. This is the place to go.
