Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Jackson Clinton

Please be aware this hotel is under a renovation. I am not one to complain. This hotel should be ashamed that they are renting rooms. We stayed in room 216. The mattress had no mattress cover and was stained. The dresser drawer would not stay closed. The toilet seat was broken. The floors had trash especially under the bed. The hotel only has one functional elevator. I ran into the Manager the next morning and I explained that this was the worst hotel I had ever stayed . She looked at me and said” We are under renovation “. I went on to explain my issues and she said that was unacceptable. I got and email from her today apologized and stated she was giving me 5000 points. This is a joke since the points don’t cost her and it will not cover a night stay. I would stay at your own risk.

Positive: The lady at the front desk was very professional, always smiling, and was very helpful. Negative: The cleaning staff from Friday, 7/11/25. They forgot to give us any trash liners for the trash cans and clean towels. I think they might have been a little overwhelmed because the hotel was packed with guests.

The trash was never taken out in our room during our entire week nor was our room tidied up. I spoke with the front desk several times and it never changed during our stay. We ended up putting our trash in the hallway and using a grocery bag as our trash bag during our stay. Our linens were never tidied up and only the towels were replaced when housekeeping came through each day. ||||Midway through our stay, we had no hot water in our sink nor did any water come out of the shower head. I contacted the front desk and maintenance was sent up only to find out that work had been done and our water was shut off along with another room, but we were never told this. I asked to be moved to another room. After waiting over an hour, we packed our things up and I notified the front desk that once our

I was very pleased with my stay. A nice clean room and pleasant and helpful staff. Great breakfast, perfectly cooked bacon. I would definitely stay here again.

Our experience at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Jackson Clinton was far from pleasant. The first room we were given on the 4th floor smelled strongly of mold, and both the floors and beds were damp. It was extremely uncomfortable. The young lady at the front desk was very accommodating and moved us to another room on a different floor, explaining that the property is preparing for a remodel. The staff overall was very friendly and tried to help, which we appreciated. While the second room was slightly better in terms of smell and dampness, it still had serious issues. There was visible mold in the shower and throughout the bathroom, which is unacceptable. I travel with an air purifier because my children have allergies, and plugged it in to help with the issues.
