Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Elizabeth City

Every member of the staff was helpful, cheerful and engaging. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is very nice. We were in town for a wedding so didn't spend much time relaxing there but the outside areas and gym looked nice. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is due to the fact that we had asked for an ADA room with a roll in shower but were given a room with a tub. The shower chair was not a good one and made that difficult for my husband.

The sanitation score is 100, amazing! The breakfast lady is quite friendly. My travel companion is a veteran of Coast Guard, he was so happy to see the hotel decor Coast Guard themed

I scheduled to stay here during our trip to take my was on to college. Freshman bound. Our college journey was great till it came time to check out. My story is too long to post but I will say. My cards was over charged multiple times and when I brought it to the attention of the staff and management nothing was done. I had to contact my credit card company who then canceled all cards while traveling. The corporate office and the hotel manager made no attempts to contact me. There's so much more details to this so I will leave you with this. I have been a member of Marriott hotel since the 90s. I have never experienced any issues when traveling but the way they do business now is unacceptable. At the end of the day they fought the charges resulting in loss of funds. I suggest stay

My wife and I spent about a week at this hotel until we could find a place to rent. They took very good care of us and they were very attentive and accommodating. The breakfast team was always nice and willing to make us waffles at the waffle station and let us know when they were ready. They also offer gluten free bagels and blueberry muffins. This was especially exciting for my wife who is gluten-free and struggles to find hotels that will accommodate. The front desk was very flexible with us as we continually had to add nights to stay. They made sure to give us the best rate available. The housekeeping team was very kind and willing to provide anything we needed such as towels or toilet paper. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely consider this hotel if we have to stay at one in E

We had a horrible experience at another hotel once we arrived to NC after driving 8 hours to attend a funeral. We called fairfield at 2am and asked if they had anything available they advised no and that check in wasn't until 3pm. I told her we arrived in town and have to attend a funeral soon and had a bad experience at another hotel. She said to come at 10am and she will make sure something was available for my family. Not only was our experience 100 percent better at this hotel. The rooms were cleaned, the workers were amazing, breakfast good. We started off at another hotel having a bad experience and dealing with a death in the family and driving 8 hours. For our families to get a room here was so much easier and took a load off of all of us. I greatly appreciate them working to get a
