Blue Ruby Inn

Bed was quite comfortable but had to air out the pillows and blanket as they had been washed with the fragrance pellets and were overpowering with the smell. Breakfast was frozen waffles and frozen Jimmy Dean biscuits that you could heat in a microwave, nutrigrain bars, instant oatmeal etc with juice, apples and whole milk in the fridge. There were coffee and teas available for you to make on your own. The furniture, ceiling fan and exhaust fan were extremely dusty but a good cleaning would take care of that. Outside grounds were just sand and trees. Our stay was very convenient to downtown and we enjoyed walking all over the town. 2 Souls Wine and Bourbon bar was excellent. We enjoyed lunch at Tooleys and dinner and Karaoke at the Boathouse. Major renovations going on at the waterfront

Old house was neat, furnishings were nice, clean,check in good but quite frankly overpriced.|House and room was cold when I arrived. Couch in TV watching room was uncomfortable . Surrounding area kind of run down. Breakfast for a B&B in this price ranch disappointing

I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Ruby! The room was like a mini apartment with a sitting room, very sweet and cozy bedroom, and full bath with a jacuzzi tub. The owners were very welcoming and I truly felt as if I had a home while I was in town. I highly recommend the Blue Ruby!

Our suite at the Blue Ruby was perfect. The check in process was easy, the room was nicely appointed with coffee, utensils, snacks; bathroom had all the essentials like shampoo, soap etc; and the bed was very comfortable. Our favorite was the access to the downtown gym—a real treasure. Plus, loved the gift card to Muddy Waters Coffee Shop. Thanks, Donnie, for taking care of us. We look forward to returning soon.

My husband & I stayed at the Blue Ruby Inn last week & found it to be very clean & quaint! The owner was responsive with a text message beforehand providing me with detailed information as to check in procedures which was much appreciated. We stayed in the First Floor Master Suite 1 which was very comfortable with a private living room, king size bed & spacious bath. Breakfast was grab & go which was fine by us. Would definitely stay there again next time we're in the area.
