Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Crestview

Stayed for one night. At check-in I asked about a luggage cart. Front desk person stated they were all in use. We discussed how people do not return them and she stated she is the only one and had not had a chance to go look for any. I went to the elevator and looked on each floor. Encountered a housekeeping supervisor (can she return carts?), who offered to bring one to my room. I explained we were checking in. Neither of us found a cart the hallway. On the third floor two men were working in the electrical closet. I asked them if they saw any carts and they had one in the closet and brought it out for me. Workers using the only cart instead of leaving it for guests. Ugh. I again encountered the housekeeping supervisor whom explained to me another cart was broken (do they only

The hotel staff was extremely nice. My room was clean and they had a decent variety of breakfast food. Also, it was very convenient that the room had a microwave and fridge, it came in handy. They did not have daily cleaning service, and for me it was not an issue. I traveled alone, so there were plenty of towels available for me in the room. I believe you could request clean towels if needed, and also for your to be cleaned as well. The free WiFi came in handy as I had work that needed to be done. The TV was programed with Netflix and other streaming services that you would have, so you wouldn't have to use your phone or tablet to watch whatever shows or movies you were watching at home. Stopped here for an overnight stay and was not impressed at all. This hotel is nice on the outside but inside the rooms is a different story. The bathroom was quite disgusting, the toilet was dirty, the hand soap looked like it was 10 years old. The light fixture in the bathroom was completely missing exposing the electrical wires in the ceiling. The bed was clean but the pillows are awful and feel flat. Cheap and tacky window shades in the room just look out of place. The breakfast was horrendous, no creamer for coffee anywhere in the breakfast area. A couple pieces of toast, and some yogurt was about all they had. This hotel is not worth what they ask per night.

Stayed one evening. Hotel smelled very nice. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Plenty of places to eat nearby, but must drive. Breakfast was typical, but many choices. We would stay here again.

Low side on service because the blond haired young man that checked us in advised the key card readers were down since the morning and unsure when they were to be up. This requires some each and every time to be let in by staff. Turns out after inquiring that this situation was already 5 days ongoing. No mention of this on the site and VERY inconvenient. End of story don’t lie to the guests, just tell them what’s up and go from there.
