Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Boise West

The hotel is new, clean and mostly nice. The front desk staff was always nice and chatty. The gym is very nice and the breakfast was your typical included breakfast. I didn't use the pool. The service, especially from their General Manager falls well below the Marriott standard. I was told I could use gift cards to pay upon checkin/checkout before booking when I called. And then I was told I could use them upon checkout! When attempting to use them when checking out they would not honor them because 24 hours had passed since I booked. Sarita (the GM!)was genuinely annoyed at my request and even said they would have to charge me MORE if I wanted to use the gift cards. I purchased the gift cards specifically for this trip. Please beware if you anticipate using gift cards at this location.

We stayed here while visiting our son. This is a very nice Fairfield, one of the best we've stayed at. The staff was so pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was different every day and the breakfast attendant made sure everything was hot and fresh.|Apparently the staff does competitions for the various seasons. They had gingerbread houses decorated and guests could vote on their favs. I gather they do that for many holidays. Maybe that's why the place seems so well run. The manager must really care. We'll stay there again.

Recently stayed here when I came to town for a family event. Have to say, it was a great hotel! Everything was new and very clean. Water pressure actually wasn’t bad in the shower, which I feel like is a notorious problem in all the hotels I stay at. I also had a great view of the hills/mountains from my room. Staff were very nice and made sure I had everything I needed. The location was great! I was within 20 minutes of everywhere I had to go. Walking distance to one of Boise’s malls, and great food choices all around. Highly recommend this hotel.

Sep 11 - Sep 13Confirmed＜Trip.The 1st room a/c smell like urine..i told the front desk...they changed my room. The second room..the tv did not work after the clerk tried to fix it. I told the manager to just allot me 15k points. For having to change rooms 2 xs as she was going to change room again. She then got upset and told me nothing was smelling in the room. I told her i do not appreciate being gaslight especially since i have to change rooms again. She then went on to state about comments i made to a guest about her people. This was upsetting to me because I do not know anyone there. I DID NOT speak to any guests while there. At this point i told her to give me a refund so i can leave. She said she does not have my money to contact trip.com for my refund because i am trespassing. I ha

This location was extremely close to where I was doing business. The hotel is in a great location. You are close to restaurants, the mall, bookstores, health, food, stores, anything you can think of there’s something nearby. ||||I met Jade at the front desk. She is absolutely fantastic. Anybody who has stayed at the hotel knows who I’m talking about. She remembers names, she remembers details, she is the epitome of excellent customer service. ||||I also met Carmelita who helped me one morning with my breakfast. I don’t eat meat and the eggs that day had bacon bits in them. She went and made me a plain batch of eggs which she did not have to do. I am so grateful for her kindness; she is amazing.||||Both of these women are the reason that I will be staying at this hotel anytime I come to Boi
