Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Augusta Washington Rd./I-20

I had a great stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Augusta I‑20. The staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout my visit. They even allowed my room to be cleaned more frequently than the usual schedule, which I really appreciated. The pool was excellent and well maintained, making it a great place to relax after a long day. Overall, the service and atmosphere made for a very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again.

When I say this stay was great, I truly mean it. Michael at the front desk went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. The young lady working the evening shift when I arrived was also incredibly respectful and kind. The hospitality here was outstanding.||My room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated having Netflix and other streaming options available. The hotel feels either newer or recently renovated. During my stay, it was very quiet, as there didn’t seem to be many guests, which made for a peaceful night.||Overall, this was a very positive stay and a great experience while traveling through.

I want to specifically recognize Dominique and Walter at the Fairfield Marriott for outstanding service. My room was struggling to heat up, and they truly did everything they could to accommodate me and make sure I was comfortable. Both of them were kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about resolving the issue rather than brushing it off. Their professionalism and positive attitude made a frustrating situation completely manageable. They were amazing throughout the day, and their effort did not go unnoticed. This is exactly the level of service that keeps guests loyal. Thank you, Dominique and Walter!

How this hotel has 4.4 stars is beyond me because what I seen was more like no stars. I drove 2 and a 1/2 hours to Augusta for work and booked a room for 1 night. Checked in at 9:37pm and I was back in my car driving home by 11:15pm. This hotel is filthy. My only regret is not leaving after the first room. Instead I stayed and tried 4 different rooms because I did not want to drive back home and all of them were disgusting! Hair in the bed on every bed but the last room, hair on the towels, excessive toenail clippings on the floor, ash on the lamps on the nightstand, bed bugs, someone was smoking in their room, and lighting a candle to cover the smell, mattresses had black dots on them, mattress pad was missing from some beds, sheets had several unusual stains, etc. It was an actual nightm
