FairBridge Inn Express Rome

Our first room smelled bad and had roaches on the TV. They moved us to another room and the door had a huge gap between it and the frame. The sheets looked dirty and I found ashes and random crap on the floor in the corner. You get what you pay for, but I'd spend more to avoid this place. The man and woman who worked there were helpful. There were also other tenants yelling and fighting all night long. I would give it a 0 ⭐ if I could

Terrible. They made my friend pay her pet deposit twice

This is the experience that your mom warns you about in a $47 room. At 1045pm, the parking lot was full of people roaming around the cars; one with a clipboard. There were lively and loud conversations between the lot nomads and people hanging off the balcony with their doors propped open. The first room smelled like it had been used to burn leaves for the fall. I explicitly asked for a nonsmoker and was upgraded without fuss. When I came back from the convenience store in the parking lot (in retrospect, this should have been a clue...) at maybe 1115, there was a loud and profanity-laden scene that was clearly an HR meeting. The employer was not happy with the level of service from the repair dude who had the look of a failed drug test patient. It was loud and not appropriate to be aire

It just did not meet my expectations. I ran out of toilet paper, and they didn't open until 9. The place didn't look like it had been cleaned in a while. The shower curtain was nasty and stained. There was hair from the previous person everywhere. The floor was disgusting. The freezer was dripping from being frozen. The one positive I have is that the lady at the front desk was very nice.

It's being renovated right now but it's just as nice as it was 6 years ago, when we stayed here before. The only real problem is the rude people who fight all hours of the night. And, they do it outside waking us up. The staff and owners are really sweet and good people who have been working with us
