Extended Stay America Suites- Knoxville - West Hills

Mold growing in the shower had to constantly change shower curtains because the fan in the the bathroom was not working properly. I sprayed the shower myself with bleach to kill the mold. A maintenance man was sent out. All He did was change the face of the fan. It still does not pull the moisture out of the bathroom the phone never worked from day one I reported it several times. If I touch the t v it turns off. Overall experience was good. The staff was really good. Unless you try to tell the housekeepers what I wanted them to do. They couldn't understand me. That's the only problem.

Positive: Location. The ac was cold, but didn't improve the musty smell. Negative: Room had a musty smell, the shower looked moldy, there were hairs on the bed, stains on the pillow case, there was no privacy sign to keep housekeeping out of your room, their back door doesn't shut (security issue), loud neighbors, barking dogs.

I had a very pleasant stay there to be honest it is what it is. It’s what you pay for and I was happy to have a full kitchen and a comfortable bed. Really the only downside was there was a roach issue a few times in the bathroom only but I’m from Florida so it didn’t really bother me that much, but it was an issue to be honest I would go back. I enjoyed my stay minus the roaches.

Most of the staff are great, the only complaint I have is why doesn't someone properly communicate when the washer and dryer aren't working? when uonly have 6$ for laundry it's hard enough, imagine the unmarked broken dryer taking half your money and the front desk wouldn't reimburse even though there are cameras to show you aren't lying. 6 weeks when u calm the line? looks like we wearing wet clothes this week

The location is the only upside. Only stay here if you are in a pinch or very low on budget. The only reason I haven’t left is because my company booked me here and I haven’t seen a live bug. There’s holes in my bedding, my towels, my curtains. The curtains are busted. There’s are holes all over the walls as well as random questionable stains. The walls are very thin, I can hear the dog at the end of the hall as I type this. I understand you get what you pay for. But torn linens should not be provided to guests, and dingy dirty towels should be tossed. For this price point you expect bare bones, no amenities. But not dirty a ripped items. If I could leave I would.
