Extended Stay America Select Suites- Wichita - North

This place was way over priced at 130 dollars for 1 night in the middle of the week. The motel 6 is cleaner than this place unfortunately. I was expecting it to be sub-par but they dropped the bar with this one. No shampoo or anything when I arrived. The walls are covered in spit, boogers, etc. The floors look like they haven’t been swept in weeks. It was hard to even trust the bed. At the price I paid for a 1 bed for 1 night, it should have been cleaner. I’ll even attach photos of the room to show how disgusting this place truly is. On the other hand, the girl that checked me in was very nice, that’s about all the reason why the 1 star was received. Other than that, if I could give 0 stars I would.

The room is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a long stay, and the property overall feels safe and welcoming. What really makes this place special is the staff. The entire front desk team has been professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful from day one. I recently had an issue connecting my TV, and the manager went above and beyond to make sure I received the tech support I needed. He didn’t stop until everything was fully resolved, and I really appreciated the time and effort he put into helping me. Filled with marijuana smoke, even in the non smoking rooms. You will not get any sleep, as no quiet hours are enforced. I was constantly woke up by stomping, slamming, yelling, and other peoples smoke I did not want to inhale. It's a great area, but if you want to breathe normal air, or sleep for more than an hour, try somewhere else. Edit, to reply to the reply, the 4th floor is a smoking floor. The bot responding to these reviews does not even know how the business works. So good luck with an establishment that has no idea how the property is set up. In 30 seconds on google you know more than the company does.

My review is strictly for the staff that work at this hotel. the AGM, Key and the GM Torres are some of the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet. It is obvious that they are working with little or no support from the owners of this establishment but they are doing everything they can to ensure their guests are happy. The owners better show some appreciation for them or someone with a much better opportunity just might steal them away. 11/17/25 5+ stars for Destiny, she is amazing! She knows what customer service means. I have had staff to have me come downstairs to get my own bedding even though the elevator has been broken for 2 months, they made me wait 2 days to replace their broken microwave and even told me to call the cable service when it wouldn't work, all the while

General Manager, Tarues, is a awesome person! He is what makes this hotel pleasurable! The entire staff is the most professional and courteous staff i have encountered in my 65 years.
