Extended Stay America Select Suites- Louisville - Airport

Place was terrible! Pictures are very deceiving. The whole building smelled of mildew and cigarettes. Seemed more like a low income base apartment complex. Our room was terrible. Blood on the bathroom floor, someone had punched the bathroom door, overall appearance was terrible. Honestly was scared of bed bugs.

Positive: I like the kitchenette type setup in the room with the regular size refrigerator Negative: They did not have luggage carts and the hotel doors were too small for bringing in lots of luggage or trying to use a luggage cart.

I regret not ready the reviews first Ughh. I went there just needing to get away from home for a while for some PEACE but can't say I got it there. As I was checking in I was informed that they have been having problems with the keys staying programed to the room & if my room isn't clean to come back & she'd switch me rooms, now this was after 8p when I checked in and there shouldn't have been any question to the cleanliness of the room at that time. Not long after I checked in I had to come back to have her reprogram the key, then as I was about to put my food in the fridge there was a big roach crawling on the fridge door so I killed it. Later on that night I walked my daughter out and when I got back to the room the key wouldn't work again. Inconveniently they have the phone positioned

Manager Whitney is the sweetest person I've ever met. I have never had a staff member at a hotel make me feel like I'm at home. Everyday of the week I am greeted with a smile and just very warm vibes. She has started bringing in new staff and makes it the model to make people feel like it's home. Some Any services I have needed i have had no problems. I can see a change from a year ago when I stayed here. I think she is a great addition to this hotel.

It definitely needs a maintenance Furniture upgrade Some new doors room smell like Animal it also needs a constant cleaning crew Once every two weeks It’s not ideal And if you need Wi-Fi, probably one of the worst I also believe I found Some illegal stuff Front desk is polite. They will help you out, but you need more than the front desk.
