Extended Stay America Select Suites- Lakeland

I stayed for 9 months with my children and they came to clean my room twice that was it. They gave me a room with all broken down appliances. I cooked for a family of four on ONE burner for 9 months because they would not come fix the stuff. Never responded to my work orders. They would hound you down for money but not even make sure you have a roll of toilet paper or CLEAN SHEETS . I was so frustrated I had to check out. Then they tried to charge my card 250 dollars. The price goes up every month. Don’t stay here. Not even for a night. You just might get dirty towels for room service.

Everything was very good, staff was helpful and polite. The room was good, bed was comfortable and it was clean, the shower was good. The staff made my stay enjoyable. It was easy to get to where I wanted to go staying here. Everything worked in the room. No problems, will stay again.

Got here today to check in and the worker left and refused to attend me because her "shift was over” and we were waiting in the lobby for a good 30 minutes for the next worker to clock in and to top it off the previous worker that left in-front of us forgot to leave the key to open the front desk so we had to wait 10+ minutes for her to come back and we Finally got our keys to get in the place. Unfortunately it’s in a bad area, homeless people around the place and once I entered my room there was dust on the tv and desks and I tried turning the tv on and it doesn’t even work. Got in the shower and there were hairs in the shower and ants around the sink and shower handle and the shower room has mold and the walls are deteriorating, it’s really nasty wish I checked all the hotel options near

Kendrick at the front desk is wonderful! He is kind and makes the process simple, understandable and quick. The hotel is clean the staff are helpful. HIGHLY recommend, the front desk staff makes being here better! Kendrick is the bomb!
