Express Inn Bay City

The people in the front office are very nice. The cleaning ladies honestly need to do a better job. They do bring by trash bags and toilet paper and stuff like that, but they don’t change the sheets unless it’s very dirty and I basically told them I didn’t need their cleaning services because I have my own broom mop and vacuum with cleaning supplies… My stay has been pretty good have not seen one roach or bug in my room.. This hotel has actually cleaned up a lot. It’s still of course one of the cheaper motels.. And it’s basically if you don’t bother no one then they won’t bother you… only thing is in the bathroom I spotted a bunch of mold on the ceiling

Stayed for about a month. Me and my little dog. They are very pet friendly. They are also one of the most affordable places in town that isn't known as a drug den. I'm able to walk my dog at 2am and it is quiet and peaceful. Nothing suspicious looking happening. Very pleased with everything

I'm not sure how I stumbled onto this Indian-owned property, except the price was very good. I was uncertain enough about the coming overnight that I asked the owner to show me the room beforehand. What I can say is I had a comfortable stay in my amply (but not over) stocked, clean, simple but quite roomy room. For $62 I got a comfortable stay. But given this former Knights Inn was owned by an Indian proprietor whose command of English wasn't great, I may have gotten a decent room because I kept my eyes open ... and stayed away from nearby guest who snarled at me and my dog the following day. Shop carefully ... and be careful.

My husband and I decided to stay a week at the Knights Inn because they advertised 225 a week on their sign outside of their motel. We paid 293. Not a bad price for a whole week. But it is not what they advertised. ||We came inside and the first thing we noticed was the smell. It did not have a pleasant smell at all, however, it was is an old motel. There was a no smoking sign on the door. I guess that was a plus. ||The initial appearance of the room was nice. Newly renovated. Stocked towels and bathrags. Soap and shampoo and lotion packets were available. ||When I pulled back the covers, there was black dog hair on the sheets. On both beds. Luckily we brought our own covers and pillows. ||On closer inspection, we noticed a door that was taped up. We later realized that it was a door to t

The only Part of my experience here was the employee who checked me in she was nice , once I checked in and opened the door to my room I already regretted booking this hotel. There was a musty stale odor, there were drawers missing from furniture , furniture was rusty and not appropriate for use, the room was dirty, the shower curtain I don’t even know what was all over it, there’s no way the carpet was vacuumed, and when I pulled back the bedding it was obvious they had not seen a washer and dryer. I did ask for more bedding for mine were dirty and yes I got another set but that was it , didn’t even attempt to put them on or ask about the dirty ones just handed them to me and off she went . Needless to say I will never stay here again it is by far the worst experience I have ever endured
