Executive Motel

I’ve been staying here for quite some time now. It’s my vacation spot during the season. Nothing fancy but, suites my needs( 2 beds, tv, microwave, small refrigerator, small table with 2 chairs, n a bathroom. This was the first year I came down for a whole week and The Tides Inn was prefect for me. I seem to write the same thing about this motel so, I’m not gonna write much more. I’d say check it out, locations great.

Like every year now for over a decade I’ve been staying at The Tides inn formally known as The Executive motel. For me it’s about the location n the rates which I think, the rates are more reasonable than other places I’ve looked into. I like the across the street to the beach, I like the bus pick up in the parking lot right behind the place(literally in the rear parking lot). This place has everything I need, clean room, clean bathroom, tv, ac microwave, small refrigerator…. I don’t need much more than that. As always, room was clean n everything was good for my liking. I actually checked in a day earlier this year(Wednesday instead of Thursday). Similar to last year(Memorial Weekend) the place never got full, had room available the whole weekend. I absolutely live this motel. Idc what anyone says, I've never had any issues w this place (just other guests). Friendly staff, clean rooms, location is perfect. Not even a 2 minute walk to the beach & perfect location on the beach too. Pool is small, but never overcrowded. My son loves it. Only issue I have is that bc it's a cheaper motel, a lot of people who come there don't seem to care too much about others. We had a whole block party next to us 4 out of the 9 days we were there. People next to us were outside smoking weed hookahs & had loud music going for a few hours. Having a 4 year old, it was hard to get him to chill out. Outside of that, it's amazing.

Stayed here like always for Labor Day Weekend. All years in the past I’ve came down Thursday-Tuesday but, this year came down right after work on a Wednesday. I feel I wrote mostly the same thing every year/stay here. So, everything was good just like all other years. Only thing I did take notice was room 316, the window unit air conditioner was either on its last leg or was restricted. Seem to never really get that cold and for whatever reason the display screen could not be seen. Most I think go down to 60 or 62 degree but, again the display screen wasn’t working. Other than that the room was clean, the ladies do a nice job, everything worked as it should. Another great stay. They've changed the name to The Tides Inn, used to be the Executive Motel. Still the same owners and some of the staff is the same. We recognized some faces. Super clean, super affordable, prices increased a bit from last year, but not that bad. It's Ocean City, and the beach, everyone increases their prices. Housekeeping was great, couldn't have been cleaner. Really quiet. Not ocean front but a short walk to the beach. Perfect family spot and they sold discount passes for Jolly Roger this year. We will continue to vacation here.
