Estes Lake Lodge

I have been to the Estes Lake Lodge four times now with all varieties of friends and family, and plan to return many times in future! Both the lodge buildings and the cabins are very cozy and I love how quiet and peaceful it feels here despite the proximity to the roads and all the people staying. Management is wonderful and has been super accommodating and helpful with early check-in, answering questions, and prompt communication. The DVDs and board games in the office are always a plus. The price is also very reasonable for Estes Park. There are elements of the lodge that are more on the rustic side that someone looking for a luxury hotel might not enjoy, but for me, it works perfectly. I’ve never had a bad experience here and always look forward to coming back.

We came to Estes for the Scottish Festival and we needed a location close to the fair grounds that was affordable. We stayed in the blue jay. I loved the view from the patio and seeing the humming birds in the morning while drinking coffee. We did get to see some Elk come down from the mountain and play in the lake it was a great opportunity for photos! The room was very cute and cozy and what we were looking for. It was clean spacious and gave us the basics. Some bits and pieces of the bathroom were aged but it didn’t bother us and it looked like they are working on updating some things. I would say a luggage holder would be nice, we used the dresser which was really nice to have as well. We could hear our direct neighbors however they were not crazy loud it was during normal day ho

WOW, just, WOW. I think this has got to be one of the best places I have ever stayed! I booked the 'Manor House' for a quick overnight get away for my family. It was beautiful! Right on the lake, the views were stunning...huge picture windows to soak it all in. There were six of us, and all had comfortable accommodations. We had plenty of room to spread out. The main room was set up perfectly for cooking and socializing. We cooked two meals and had everything we needed! What a wonderful experience; booking, check in and check out were so easy. I HIGHLY recommend Estes Lake Lodge!!

We are a family of 5 (kids ages 3-9)and we just came out for a fall trip over the weekend to see RMNP. We looked at many lodging options and so glad we ended up staying in the Wonderview Cabin. We enjoyed having 2 seperate rooms for sleeping plus a great kitchenette that we used to grab our own breakfast stuff and go before heading to the park. It would have been great to prepare a meal if desired. It was actually a very quiet area-a lot of the other lodging was closer to a lot of traffic-a challenge with a toddler! We didn't have a fire this time but it would be a fun option in the future. I called several times with questions but Aaron always answered and everything was as expected. We could get anything else right from the office if needed! It was a great place to stay for the weekend!

The rooms have a nice view and they are cute cabin like rooms and they even have a real fire place. The one thing we did not like was the bed, the bed was not comfortable at all. It was a spring mattress and hard as heck. Needless to say our backs are very sore and the couch is no help either because its super uncomfortable. Unfortunately will not be staying here again.
