Encore Sunshine Holiday Daytona

Stayed here with our RV for 3 weeks in January. Don’t stay towards the back of the first loop, sickening sewage smell wafts in throughout the day and night. Literally woke me from sleeping. I called and they said it’s bc of the water treatment facility back there and it just depends which way the wind blows. There wasn’t another site available for us to move to. Other campers had same experience so it’s not a temporary thing. Beware. Otherwise the pool great, clean and fairly warm. Bathrooms and laundry near the pool are super clean. They accept mail and packages which is great.

Nice spot not too far from the beach and things to do (20-30 mins. For most) groceries we're a short drive away. Bathrooms were spotless, laundry well kept, the pool was slightly heated. No hot tub but we had some warm days so that was fine. Some of the roads in the park were a but narrow and need some work. We were in the newer section by the pool.

Fantastic little (large actually) campground just outside of Daytona but accessible to everything. I had a great stay. I was there for the Daytona 500 but needed a place outside of the chaos of the speedway area. Many thanks to the entire staff and especially to Jade at the front desk, she came through in the clutch for me with an unusual business-related request. 5 stars across the board. Many thanks!

Clean campground with very easy check-in/check-out. We arrived about 6 pm, after the office had closed and our welcome package was waiting for us with a thoughtfully drawn map about how to get to our site. ||||We were in site 72, which is an end site. The end site seemed more spacious then interior spots. The circular design of the park makes it look a little tricky to back in or even pull-through a 5th wheel if you are in an interior spot. ||||The pool was really clean with nice lawn chairs, umbrellas, and tables. They were either renovating or putting new bathrooms in at the pool--they accommodated with porta-potties right outside the pool gate...but honestly any site is such a short walk to the pool, it was easy to go back to your site really quick if needed. ||||We didn't play mini-gol

So I have to say it has been our least favorite Thousand trails stay. This was an Encore Resort ah not really!! We stayed 1 night and sought out other accommodations (Clarcona State Park! Gorgeous) The cement pad was broken up,no picnic table and 50 amp service. Most small rv's have 30 amps! I was told to go and buy a converter! The site was so small like an after thought. The RV on the side of us was literally 3 maybe 4 ft from us! On a positive note your bathrooms are the one best we have seen. We will not be back.
