Embassy Suites by Hilton Louisville East

We rented two hotel rooms for the weekend and were excited to enjoy the pool with our kids, as it was listed as one of the amenities. However, when we went to swim, we were informed that reservations were required and only five people were allowed in the pool at a time for 30-minute sessions. Each of our rooms accommodates six people, so this policy made it very difficult for our family to use the pool together. Unfortunately, our kids were extremely disappointed. We understand that hotels may have policies in place, but these restrictions were not clearly communicated when booking. If you are traveling with a family, I recommend you considering another hotel. The listed amenities did not match our experience during the stay.

The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was convenient, and delicious. The hotel was centrally located. Near anything you could have wanted. Staff at front counter, bar and breakfast cooks were friendly and always willing to please their guest. Would recommend staying at this hotel.

Not right off the interstate so it was a lot quieter than I was expecting which I loved. Hotel lobby area was beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Glass elevator overlooking the lobby was a nice touch. The rooms were perfect. Very homey feeling. Bed was super comfy and even the pull out couch was comfortable. My hubby slept on it and he's a big guy and don't feel the bar as a lot of pull out couches feel and I slept in the bed with our 3 and 5 year old grandsons. The door between the sleeping area and living area was very appreciative. Bathroom was roomy with a lovely big walk in shower. There are 2 big TVS in both rooms. A personal safe was also in the room. We did not go in the pool area but our friends did and gave rave reviews. There is a fantastic breakfast included with stay. O

My wife and I stop here every year on our way south. Normally I would rate 5 stars, not this year. Check in was great. The front desk was friendly and efficient. Our suite was fine except for the bathroom. First, the toilet seat was gross, stained and dirty. My wife disinfected. Then the sink dain wouldn't drain. Finally, the hair dryer was filthy and covered with matted hair. Houskeepinf failed big time. The evening reception was decent. The breakfast was only so so. There were many items empty. This was shortly after opening. I did make my feelings known at the desk. Not up to Hilton standards.

This place was awesome, room was nice, clean, and spacious. Could use a few more outlets by the bed. The breakfast is great, made to order omelet or regular eggs. Bacon was freshly made as well. Highly recommend. While we didn't use the pool it is limited to 5 people at a time for 30 minute limit that had to be reserved ahead of time and only 1 time a day.
