Edgewater Inn

Absolutely loved this place and wish we had time to stay longer than one night! The room was great with comfy bed and pillows, a fridge, coffee maker etc, the terrace was amazing!! Such a gorgeous view and so peaceful but yet just a short walk over the bridge to the old town and marina. We arrived early at 1pm and asked if we could leave our car whilst we went exploring and Sue was great, not only letting us park but giving us our key so we could go straight to the room later in the evening, very much appreciated. The breakfast was delicious, an egg quiche with fresh fruit and plenty of cereal or bread/bagels for toasting too. The coffee was tasty and i enjoyed a takeaway one on the terrace before we had to leave, we saw dolpins and herrons! Book it, you'll not be disappointed!

We have stayed at Edgewater multiple times over the past 30 years and with 3 owners. The updates to the rooms have been excellent. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. It is such a peaceful place to stay. We love sitting on the porch of our room in the rocking chairs watching the boats and the sunsets. The breakfasts are phenomenal.

Great customer service. Rick was friendly, funny and helpful.Had a good sleep on the beds.Evening social hour, snacks,& refreshments were nice.Breakfast quiche was delicious! Very nice breakfast served,& view of water, awesome!I have two suggestions that would make my rating a 5. The floors in our room were dirty enough to make my sisters new, clean, white socks black. The tv remote fell behind the dresser/ refrigerator console. When I slid it away from the wall to retrieve the remote, it was pretty dirty back there.Shower may have been clean, but maybe due to the brown grout, appeared dirty.  We were questioning the cleanliness, after seeing my sister’s socks,& chose not to use the shower .😬As a suggestion, putting some type of reflective tape, paint or lighting at the different step elev

Beautiful little gem at the foot of the Bridge of Lions. It has an "Old Florida" charm with updated interiors to make it comfortable and modern. Everything was clean. I enjoyed coffee on the back deck overlooking the water, watching the wildlife. The view of the city is perfect. Our stay was peaceful and restful. It is walking distance just over bridge to the historic city. Complimentary breakfast each morning was lovely.

Charming riverfront hotel with a killer view! My husband and I enjoyed the deck with rocking chairs. The breakfast was great and social hour was really nice! Great food and lovely hosts! Historic downtown St. Augustine was walkable about 5-10 mins across Lions bridge. Thank you for a wonderful weekend! We will definitely be back in the future!
