Eden Roc Motel

Pros The pool is enjoyable. Excellent location—just a one-minute walk to the boardwalk, making it very convenient. Cons The room is extremely basic. The toilet seat was loose and shifted while in use. The television was outdated and poor quality. Even though they had cable, both the TV and remote were old and inconvenient to use. The curtains didn’t close completely, which compromised privacy. Lighting was limited. One lamp appeared broken, but I later discovered it had simply been unplugged. The air conditioning unit was bizarrely loud. It made it difficult to fall asleep. Turning it off wasn’t an option because the room became uncomfortably hot, so you’re stuck choosing between noise and heat. Staff seemed disengaged—no smiles, no warm interaction, just business-like. Spacious, clean, lots of good pillows & bath towels, comfortable beds, good water pressure in shower.|Awesome staff. Pool, breakfast, spacious deck. What more could you need? 3 doors down is bike rental, restaurants, shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Positive: We were able to check in a day early, the room was immaculate. No dirt or sand. Towels were replaced daily. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Negative: Nope. Loved everything

I loved this motel! The location was perfect and very close to the beach for me and my family! Jessica, the front desk lady was amazing. Her amazing attitude and smile helped me feel very comfortable and welcomed. She also helped me find the best deals! The room was so clean. Jessica did an amazing job cleaning as well. Jessica is one of the reasons I will be coming back!

For the location price and pool, this is the best deal in OC. It is dated , but the pool is very nice and was really clean. It was never crowded or busy either which was nice. You can walk from your room to the beach in about 1-2 minutes. Could be a little cleaner but i’ve definitely stayed at worse in oc, The free breakfast is good enough. It was convienient with our kids. They serve big variety of cereals , yogurt , breakfast sandwhiches coffees juice and oatmeal’s .It was nice to just grab that quickly and get to the beach. Our room was up top in front which there is a set of steps and balcony. Nobody used it so it was like having a private balcony with city view but if you sat on the edge you can see the ocean to. The steps are sketchy though and the balcony itself is also soft and n
