Economy Inn & Suites

The bathroom& room was dated. The shower chair broke. The bed bar for lifting out the bed was on the floor. This looks like nursing home room turn hotel. Needs more work. The door that leads to front desk was closed during day hours(the sign says open). They put torn bed skirts on beds. The room didn't have everything it was supposed to have . Very disappointed with the price.

STAY AWAY! This hotel is absolutely disgusting and the staff is incredibly rude. We endured the worst hotel experience imaginable at the Economy Inn in Denton, which is severely infested. We were initially put in a room where we found german cockroaches, and then to make matters worse, what appeared to be sewage or fecal matter backed up and came out of the bathtub drain. When we asked to be moved due to these appalling, unsanitary conditions, the staff member we spoke to was dismissive and gave us a terrible attitude instead of offering an apology or helping quickly. They moved us to another room that had a working bathroom, but disappointingly, it was also filled with roaches, proving this is a problem throughout the property because we moved to the other side of the inn. Positive: Nothing Negative: Room had roaches

I gave this hotel one star because negative stars were not an option. We came in too late to refuse to stay and started our night out by killing roaches. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper which we had to go to the office to get. There are holes in the walls, stained sheets and a dirty bathroom. It was disgusting!! The next morning I had to kill a roach walking on the sink by our toothbrushes. Also, after one shower they had to come with a Shopvac to suck the water up because the tub didn’t drain.

Needed a place to crash for a few hours, was exactly what I was looking for. Gentleman at the counter was very professional and quick and I was able to get into my room fairly quickly. The room itself is a bit warm but the a/c works so no complaints there. It's economy, you get what you pay for, and I feel like that's all that really matters. Also close to everything I need to get to in the morning so win-win. Nothing fancy, but if you need to rest your head this ain't a bad place to do it.
