Hilton Garden Inn Denton

The hotel has roof repair going on while I was there. Noise started about 8am and stopped about 5:30-6pm. Everyone was courteous and helpful. The room was great. The location loses a star because of highway noise. The room was on the front of the building facing the highway. Next trip the room will be on the back. Nothing outrageous but road noise was heard through the night.

What a fabulous wedding weekend experience! We booked our son's wedding party and wedding guest rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn Denton, TX. We also hosted a welcome party for around 170 guests in their event room the night before the wedding. We chose to cater through the hotel and were not disappointed. Food and drink were exceptional. Everyone we encountered - the sales director, the front desk personnel, the restaurant and bar staff - were all so eager to make sure this weekend was perfect, and it was. We had over 40 rooms booked and they managed to take care of all our guests with grand Texas hospitality! Our daughter's family, my husband and I stayed at the Hilton in Denton, TX for a family wedding. Our stay was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had two small children with us so we enjoyed the pool and common areas that allowed us to spread out and let the kids play and wander. And we loved the fruit water in the lobby. A nice touch. The staff I worked with to arrange the room block were helpful, responsive and professional. Overall is was a wonderful, relaxing and accommodating place for our family to stay for the wedding.

I arrived at the hotel around 1 a.m. and checked in. I noticed a “Construction in Progress” sign, but the staff didn’t mention anything about it at all. Since it was so late, I figured it wouldn’t be a big deal and went to sleep. But starting at 6:30 a.m., the construction noise was extremely loud and made it impossible to sleep in properly. We were on the 3rd floor, and it seemed like we were the only guests there. When I checked the 2nd floor later, the renovation work there looked finished and clean. So we went to the front desk to explain the problem, but they just pointed out that there was a construction sign and basically said everything was fine / there was no issue on their side. I wasn’t looking to argue or demand anything—I just wanted to hear a simple “I’m sorry this happened”
