Econo Lodge Ormond Beach North - Daytona

Worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. AC broke in FL hot and humid... sticky brown stained floors that they cant be bothered to clean... rodent feces and hair at door entrance and yes I call it an entrance when there's literally an inch opening left below the door... mold everywhere and peeling paint... no hot water... my favorite was when I asked if they could fix just the water and AC issues, sorry its busy and they wont be able to this week probably. OK fair we all get busy, can you put me in a different room? Yes but it will cost me another $200+ to upgrade... UPGRADE? this hotel was by far the worst part of my trip. And I have stayed in some sketchy hotels, but this takes the cake!

This so-called hotel deserves a zero rating. Our almost-stay was characterized by “you get what you pay for”. The check-in process was somewhat shady with paperwork in which you could not see what you were signing for. The attendant caught an attitude and when we asked for a copy, she could not provide it. The room was absolutely deplorable - from the front door to the bathroom. The mattress looked like something from a trash pile. We attempted to check out that night forgoing our stay. A sign was posted on the door for the expected return, which came and passed. Finally, we called a phone number posted on the door and were told to drop the door key through the window slot. The next morning we called to confirm that our check-out and key were received and encountered more attitude. T

We had a family emergency and needed a place to stay, I would not stay here again.. They argued about giving us towels, only 1 was provided for 4 people and a baby. We asked for toilet paper and the front desk argued one roll should last us .more than 2 days. The advertised "breakfast" is only provided on weekends.. this included 2 cereal options and toast. The bread was coveres in mold, the more covered peices were thrown away in the trash. The coffee was stale and the creamer was lumpy. The room was dirty. I had to buy cleaning supplies and clean my room. The bathroom was covered in hair and the floors were sticky. . the ceiling in the shower was chipping and falling into the tub. mold on the trims in the bathroom. It also comes with roaches, under the mini fridge. It advertises a pool b

I was a guest at this place as I was in between apartments. Since it was close to the interstate, I thought it would be ideal! Wrong!! This place is terrible! There is no hot water. The carpets are disgusting like my feet stick to it! Gross! The grounds are unkept but the worst part is the no hot water and they were supposed to move us and kept putting it off. I think it's illegal. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!

This was the 2nd worst room I've ever stayed in. There was no hot water pressure in the sink, the shower water pressure was about half due to a faulty mixer switching water flow from tub faucet to shower head, the shower had pubic hair on the walls and inside tub, visible mold in tile grout and on the shower curtain. No trash can, the TV didn't work (I even tried changing remote batteries out of some I had with me for something else). I killed several cockroaches. Every vent had visible heavy dust. The carpet was filthy and only appeared to be lightly vacuumed in "traffic areas".
