Econo Lodge Louisville Downtown

Room was clean and had the essential items. Bed was comfortable and the shower pressure and temperature were great. The breakfast was okay - coffee machine had some quirks and fruit options were singular but the selection was nice. Great location and value. Two issues were the dumpster being emptied at 5 AM in the morning and some interesting characters in the parking lot. I did recommend to two sets of friends. One appreciated it and the other one wasn't satisfied. Overall, I would stay again. I appreciated the location, comfort, and cleanliness.

This place requires a $100 deposit that it forgets to mention but says it's listed on the website and on other booking websites it uses. The staff here are horrible!! There customer service is the worse I have ever seen. The woman at the front desk who checked us in wanted to argue and scream at me!! I have never been to a place where an employee screams and shouts at a customer!! Don't ask for a mangager because they will tell you one is not there and won't be available until the next day! Instead you get the rude worker who wants to pick a fight with the customer. If you are looking for a cheap, dirty, and rude place to stay then you might as well stay here! The only good thing about this place is the location. Yes, you have to pay for parking but that's pretty much anywhere downtown. Br

Its a very basic motel. Rooms are clean, neat, and good enough. You are within walking distance to the major hospitals, as well as most of downtown. My only real complaint is that the website and reservation confirmations all stated parking in the hotel lot would be $5 daily per car. When we got there we were charged $8 daily. Maybe the website just needs updated, but we got the feeling someone was pocketing the difference.

Location is perfect for being close to the KFC Yum! Center for concerts and sports. It's even closer to the Kentucky International Convention Center. Rooms are okay but it's definitely a lower end motel, took the room forever to heat up and even longer for the mini fridge to cool down since it was unplugged when we first arrived. The elevator is also quite sketchy. All and all it was a good place for what we were needing this weekend.

Bed was very comfy, and had the perfect number of pillows to share between two people. Room was very clean and didn't smell like cigarette smoke or weed. Room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. Fridge did not have a freezer. Breakfast (bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice) offered. Parking is $8 for guests for one car. Additional cars and trailers have additional charges. $100 deposit on a credit card required.
