I'm surprised this is a Choice Hotels Room. 1. I had to ask the front desk 3 times to open the lock which only worked in some sort of weird sequence...it is a piece of crap. Green light came on but lock wouldn't open. 2. If it was a no smoking room as I was supposed to be upgraded to, it's a joke...there were cigarette burns on the sheet which made me suspicious of the sheets. Also cigarette burns on the desk. So I pulled back the top sheet and there were pee stains on the mattress cover. Absolutely gross! 3.Bathroom and sink tile looked filthy but when I looked closer, it looked like whover worked on maintenance didn't ever hear of masking. Corners of the bathroom were gross...around toilet looked gross This was the worst room I've stayed in in the last 30 years...and not worth the pr

Positive: It was conveniently located Negative: I was put in a smoking room and not asked if I had a preference. I didnt even know smoking in rooms was still allowed. There was a broken bed in my room. It had a huge hole in it. The room was not clean. There were spiders webs and debri on floor.

The folks at the desk were just so friendly and welcoming. Because we wanted a single king, we were placed at the back of the motel, off of the Main Street, so it was nice and quiet, although I think folks on the front side just use ac unit for white noise. Room was very nice, clean, and had a nice fridge and microwave, and a safe although we didn’t use it. The bed was very comfortable!!! We both slept very well! Day shift folks were just as nice as the night shift! You’re doing something right!

While the price/night was lower than the mean for the area (there were many choices,) cost isn't everything. The office chair wasn't high enough for the desk surface where my work laptop was located, even after extending the chair to it's utmost position. The closet rod was installed so close to the shelf that I had great difficulty putting my hangered-clothes in-place. The shower head was torqued correctly (read as loose.) It would rotate if I tried to change the spray pattern. There was no exhaust fan to evacuate the moist shower air. Last, the representative at the counter upon checkout couldn't figure out how to close out my paperwork or send my transaction/invoice record with the email on file. This is what I can remember at the moment. I'm quite inclined to return to my usual travel

Check in: Front desk employee was nice, but didn’t say/offer anything besides where the room was. Room: The room was pretty clean for a budget hotel. Definitely dated in places, but still functional and not disgusting. Location: The location is convenient along the highway, but definitely not the best part of town. A few sketchy individuals around and two police cars speed though the parking lot on our first night. *Be aware that there is no breakfast of any kind. The price for the room that we paid was not worth it, especially for there being no breakfast of any kind.
