Econo Lodge Kalamazoo near Wings Stadium

Room smelled like someone smoked in it. Bed sheets had yellow stains and burn holes. The carpet had iron burns. Water pressure in the shower was almost non-existent and the water barely got hot. Check in guy was rude and acted like we disturbed his peace, played on his phone while checking us in.... check out lady was super nice, we liked her!

After the toilet started to leek we had to move to a new room. No problem their, it was after we all got stuff moved that management says we have to leave cause they are claiming they found dog shit in the room, the room we cleaned when left had no dog shit at all. The room they gave us before we are told to leave looks like they haven’t cleaned it cause there is dust all over the ceiling and the inside of the door is covered with wholes, seems to me like it keeps getting kicked in.

Poor stay very loud door slamming and heavy walking above the room. Called desk. No better. DO NOT STAY!! Spend a bit more and sleep well. Horrible experience DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The best bang for your buck hotel in the area and hands down the friendliest staff we've ever encountered at a hotel. Large rooms, secure parking lot, all the hot water and pressure you could ever want in a shower.

The price was right staying here for one night and it was cheap. The bed and pillows were surprisingly really comfortable. I would stay here again only because of the price and beds. They really need to update the information on the website because they no longer have a pool and no breakfast the next morning and it's very misleading.
