Econo Lodge Frederick I-70

Positive: For the great rate I expected much less. It is an older property that has been well kept up - beds very comfortable and all expected amenities e.g. coffee in the morning, were great. I am very pleased and will come again. Negative: Actually nothing; maybe they can fix the juice machine; staff was friendly.

Its because, I'm a basic man, I don't ask for much, just a clean room, with bed made, clean linen, hot water for bathing. The Econo Lodge provides me with these things. The room was very clean, the bed was made very neatly, the water was nice and hot, plus they even had cable tv w/refrigerator!

Oh yeah that picture looks just like the place, minus the cigarette burns, the mice and the drugs. The staff that works there is the worse in the world I drive truck stayed at alot of hotels and my share of trashy ones but atheist the staff cared at those. This place the staff don't care at all they will tell you leave in a heart beat I watched people need a plunger and asked for 4 hours and then the girl at the desk get mad and yell at them cause they came back asking again. You can ask for sheets or a towel and they will tell you u have to wait till house keeping day. There is drugs everywhere and they offer no amenities don't get your free breakfast. Oh yeah and if you EXTEND your stay if you do it through a third part u and not them they will recoup their money by charging you a 25 dol

The only reason for the #3 is because of the price, otherwise it would be lower. Besides the fact that the buildings and room are poorly maintained, (they look nothing like what is pictured) When I checked in on 5/24/25 around 7pm., the person attending the desk was laying back on the sofa in the lobby on his phone. He acted like it was a hassle to get up and check me in. He was rude when I asked for a receipt for the $50 deposit (which I have not been refunded yet.) The next evening, I went back to ask for a printout of the tv channels .... same person (laying on the sofa) replied "there should be one in the room" I told him that there was not. His reply was "well, I guess we don't have any." He did not even get up to look in the office and acted like me even being there was a hassle. T

I arrived at my reservation at 7 PM and I was told by the gentleman who was seated in the lobby on the couch with his feet up on the table. He did get up to let me know that he tried to contact me to let me know that there were no rooms available. Not one. Upon calling to get a refund the next day. I was told that there were four rooms available that night and they don’t no why I was turned away. I felt discriminated by the way he tried not to look at me while talking to me and pretending to be on his cell phone while blowing me off.
