Econo Lodge Ellensburg Near University

Room was free of bed bugs and the bed and blankets were soft. The shower was nice and hot and so was the room it had a good ac unit. They also had free breakfast which is very nice. Staff seemed nice nobody was rude. They also have cameras set up to watch the parking lots. So at the price point of 50$ that's pretty good. Some downside rooms were not that clean dust was under most of the furniture the staff could have vacuum better. The rooms are showing their age dents dings and scuffs on walls doors and lamps shades. You can hear tv through the wall and people on the veranda. If your a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs. Location is good for people just passing through. If your trying to stay in ellensburg to see ellensburg you may want a difrent location.

Price gouging at its finest! This is AT BEST a $125 room and we were charged $330 for a 2 full bed room for one night. We prepaid for a room that was suppose to have two beds, got there and it was one King bed and the person helping me got really rude about it. We had to pay more to get the two beds we were suppose to have in the first place. There were mystery substances smeared on the walls and headboards, dirt, dust, and hair in the corners. There was also some biting bug (not bed bugs but not pleasant ones either). The person that checked us in was rude and completely dismissive. There was a gap under the wall into the next room. Had a good stay the beds were comfy and I liked the layout. I liked everything but the really small bathroom. But for the price I can't complain. The breakfast was goodband I enjoyed their mini muffins. If I remember correctly they had banana nut and blueberry mini muffins which were delicious!!! Would recommend to anyone passing through to stay here I think I paid around $60/night. And for these days that's a bargain!!!

Positive: It was friendly safe cheap clean and comfortable and it had a bathtub. Negative: Nada

Room was tight, furniture left little space to move around. Didn't expect it to be super fancy - obviously. Decent place to wait out the snow and continue traveling the next day. Since I had my dog I needed outdoor access and a friendly pet policy.
