Econo Lodge Clovis

Clean, comfortable room. Somewhat updated bathroom with a beautiful shower. Big plus, no gross carpet in the room, which we find a lot in these types of older motels. ||Breakfast was what I expected. Cereal, instant oatmeal, bread/English muffins to toast, etc. No butter, only margarine, so I passed. ||Parking was a little tight with us pulling a small U-Haul trailer, but doable. ||Good value for the price though.

Most people hate places like this, but I love them. I love to park right outside my room so that if somebody does break into my vehicle, I have a clean shot

It was mediocre. Fine for one night, but would have stayed elsewhere if the stay was longer. Other nearby hotels were the same price but had a better outer apearance. I would not have chosen this hotel if I saw it in person before booking. The room was clean and comfortable, although a bit worn. However, the main desk, which is also where the breakfast room was located, smelled like a clogged toilet. Speaking of breakfast, it was only simple, cheap pastries and cereals. No eggs, bacon, or sausage.

I don't recommend because the room my fiance and I stayed in had water spraying out of the side of the shower onto the wall and it was pealing up paint and when I looked under the sink there was what appeared to be mold growing in the back under the pipes. And the other room had got for the night for the people traveling with us got locked and they had to call maintenance in to open it so we could get to our stuff that got locked inside and when they switched room it was a downgrade from the one we originally paid for.

I found a roach crawling on my bed. The room would have been perfect but I do not like roaches because I do not want them crawling on me or get into my luggage for me to take home.
