Econo Lodge Augusta West near Fort Gordon

The other reviews talking about a funky smell are true. There's the smell of mold/mildew all throughout the second floor, and your second floor room might smell like cat litter. The beds were comfortable and clean, but the desk chair was kind of gross. For longer stays, they only clean your room every three days, which could be a negative for some people. There was no card to hang outside your door to request service--you had to request extra service from the front desk. They have a pretty big roku TV in the rooms. There's only one washer/dryer located on the first floor, and it's quarters only. We've stayed at this location before (last year) and had a much better experience, but we ended up leaving early for this stay since we didn't feel comfortable. In the hotel's defense, we did not notify the front desk to correct any issues as they may have given us a different room, but several issues for this stay: outside doors propped open allowing access to the property from the outside, trash littering the parking lot, plumbing in the room functioning poorly, and mutliple roaches found in room.

This was by far the best place me and my husband stayed in. The rooms were clean and spotless. Had the best customer service, the husband and wife are the most kindest people we know. Check in was easy. I'd say this is the best Econo lodge there is. Highly recommend this hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

During the Masters Golf Tournament, my stay at Econo Lodge Augusta, GA, was exceptional! Managers Manish and Soniya provided outstanding service and went above and beyond to ensure guests felt welcome and cared for. The nightly manager reception was such a delightful touch, offering a warm and friendly atmosphere to unwind after the day. Clean rooms, convenient amenities, and top-notch hospitality made my experience truly memorable—I highly recommend staying here!

The hotel was convenient and the price was not as expensive as some in the area. It is in need of updates and should consider doing some updates to the property. There was a roach that greeted us in the evening and the bathroom door was broken. The shower head was also broken and the drain in the bath tub was clogged. The advertised breakfast is very limited due to the people who appear to be living at this hotel. If you are a traveler and want to utilize this feature you should be prepared to be awake by 6am. The staff are very polite and check-in was a breeze. Make sure you are ready at check out time, which is 11 am! The staff will make sure to knock on your door to ensure that you depart the property expeditiously!
