Arrived around 9pm after a long day. Walked into the room and flipped on the light only to look down and see motion. Numerous small German cockroaches were skittering across the entire floor. Went down to the front office and they offered us another room in a different part of the building. Went into the next room and there were fewer cockroaches, but german roaches were still present and actively moving across the floor. German roaches are aggressive infesters that reproduce rapidly, come out of hiding at night, and will hitchhike home in your bags to infest new locations, like your house. Not worth the risk. Decided to go through the trouble of spending extra money to stay somewhere else for the night. A hotel/motel’s singular job is to be a clean place for guests to stay. Bug infestatio

Arrived late at night for a quick over night stay for my daughter to be in a wedding the next day. The floor was covered in dirt and dead bugs. The walls were filthy and the microwave was disgustingly sticky. Mirrors, sink, toilet and tub had not been cleaned. The linnen was full of dirt and I can only wonder what else. Towels and wash cloths were just on the counter and not properly stored in the shelf on the wall. Front desk was not surprised at all and was sorry that she had no other room to put us. Everywhere around us was booked so she told us if we stayed in the AM we could get a refund and this was not the first time she had this experience with customers. So I cleaned the best I could to let my daughter try and get some rest. As a single mom I could not afford to drive another hour

A broken bathroom door & burn holes in the sheets & very thin comforter. Stained towels. Not that i would take a shower there . A quick pass through on way to Myrtle beach . No ice machine. $95 . Go somewhere else

Checked in around 3 PM and left to pick up my boyfriend from work as we both worked 12 hour shifts we finally got back to the room around 10:30 close to 11 PM. I walk in the room turn on the light switch and I see a bunch of live cockroaches of all ages just roaming around alive. Stained towels I did not feel comfortable using.I tried to post the video, but it won’t allow me so I screenshot of the roaches from the video, I told the front desk and the only solution he had to offer was me having to pay more money to have a room change, which I found absolutely insane. I had a decent time. They have tractor trailer parking. There's a laundry matt, Lowe's food, huddle house near by. Room was clean especially for a smoking room. I only saw 5 small roaches at different times while I was here. I didn't see any bed bugs trust me I look hard a few times. The rooms appear as they were just renovated. Staff is excellent 👍.
