This campground was in sad condition but since the new owners have taken over, it has become a very nice, clean and happy environment! It is family friendly with lots of activities and I hear some new projects are on the horizon! Location is great as it is not too far from restaurants and shops but far enough to feel like you’ve gotten away from it all!! If you enjoy camping as much as we do, this place is a must!
Clean campsites, newly renovated bathrooms, and a great game room and laundry area. The property is quiet, family-friendly, and absolutely beautiful with the river and pond right on site. There’s even a pool. We’ll definitely be back!
Happy to know the campground is under new management! Love the modernization they have brought in to the park. Super fun game room, swimming pool, basketball, walking trails, etc. Friendly & helpful staff as well. Definitely recommend!
We had a very interesting time at this campground. We are searching for a campground we can visit both to and from our primary destination a couple times a year. The campground is relatively easy to access from the main highway nearby. Once you get here, it turns into a dirt and gravel road with enough pot holes to make you a bit uncomfortable in varying elevation changes. The office gal was friendly and escorted us to the spot. The space was so tight that we were forced to run over a neighbors fire pit in order to squeeze in. We have a 28' travel trailer. The roads had washed out due to recent rain, and we were concerned with getting stuck due to the angle, elevation climb, and wet conditions. You can see where the road washes out a bit during rain. The road and surrounding area is also
Stayed here for one night while traveling. Pictures, and descriptions on line are a bit incorrect. First thing was very poor, rutted gravel road into campground. The premium spot we paid for had an electrical problem. On the plus side, the manager was very nice and Our site was level and the bathhouse was clean! Full hookups as advertised. Amp service ran our A/c. |But one of the two pools was permanently closed as was the dock onto the lake. Overall maintenance and upkeep were obviously lacking and most people there appeared to be long term. Picnic tables were past needing replacement. ||It’s a decent place to land if no other options
