Econo Lodge Aiken Central

Hotel was in rough shape. First room toilet didn’t work, and bathroom was neglected. Second room the fridge smelt, the chair had stains all over it. Toilet lid had melts in it from somebody’s drugs. Signs were ripped off the wall. Overall, the hotel seems sketchy and neglected. Nothing like the pictures. I would have changed hotels if I could have gotten my money back.

No light bulbs in the room, roaches that were dead but non the less roaches , dirty shower curtain and bedspread had cigarette burns in it.

Positive: It was by stores and restaurants Negative: The overall stay wasn’t nice at all. I had to literally go to Walmart and buy Lysol wipes, spray, Clorox wipes and clean the entire room. I seen roaches in there also. The bathroom was not clean. The bed linen was not up to par. The pictures are lies

The floors was gritty and dirty.I took a towel and wiped down the floor with my feet near the bed. The towel was black when I was done. We saw two roaches in our room on the bathroom vanity. The couch in our room was badly outdated and had horrible and visible stains on them. The hair dryer was barely hanging on the wall by one screw. I would never stay at this location again. There was also a table outside our room that was full of empty beer cans and old food from the night before. The flys were horrible. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I've stayed at EonoLodge before but never at this location.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Concern was I found a sandwich in the frig that had a bite taken out of it and also there were no wash clothes in the room. I told the lady when I checked out.
