East Landis Hotel & Motel

This place is not right. I had my rent, and was charged $25 late fee which I didn't have. I showed proof of my bi weekly pay, and kept my word on a debt I had. They kept all of my belongings, probably thrown away by now. My birth certificate, social security card, fathers death certificate, clothing, Bible, and you can't cook there. The lady Stacie helped me I will admit, but she wasn't understanding when I explained I was in Philly and would not be back in time to pay the rent. I do not suggest going here, it is a facade. Thank God my job is allowing me to continue working there after I take care of my personal affairs, but as of now, I am homeless in the dead of winter. Be cautious about spots like this that are too good to be true.

I lived in this motel for 17 months. Location is great. Idc about the lack of air conditioning, or the dated facilities. I don't require much. Roaches were annoying, but tolerable. Beg begs were the deal breaker. They must have come in through the walls. I didn't experience the beg bugs until the end of my stay..

I don’t stay here myself but I know people who have in the distant past and one that currently resides there and he’s quite happy with the huge private space he rents from them. Some people would rather deal with an infestation than sleep on the streets. It’s hot as hell right now and come winter it’s going to be freezing cold outside on those streets. Not everyone can has the mental capacity or the means to make it outside in those conditions. It takes money. Unless of course you’re planning to literally sleep on the ground. This hotel has kept many a folk from being homeless. Look for the good in thing’s. It may not be your thing but it’s someone’s. It's a great place to be close to all kinds of stores and shops. There's also a bar down there and all the bartenders and everyone are so very kind. I highly recommend you stay here.

Never had any problems , stayed there Yrs back on numerous occasions, Ray ,Mark - all fair to me . My rooms were clean . Also if you were inside the security was good no random people roaming the halls . Thanks
