Eagle's Nest

This is a go to for my wife and myself. They are courteous and accommodating. Booking.com got it arrival dates wrong and they corrected it on the spot for us. They even matched the price we were given. They provided us with receipts for everything. The room was nice, small but nice. It was roach and bug free HALLELUJAH! Many of the hotels in this area are not. The breakfast was pretty good, eggs pancakes, fruit, cereal, coffee, you know the drill. I recommend them and can't say enough good things about the staff. If you are in the Statesboro area, which most people aren't, this is one place to stay that I can recommend.

Positive: People were very friendly; they provided another room when the tv didn't work in our room; beds were quite comfortable; and they had a much better breakfast than we expected. Negative: It needs a lot of renovation. They are in the process. Lots of road noise and not easy to get to. Rooms could use cleaner chairs.

This hotel is pretty, and the price was a very good value. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I'd like to note that the beds are 'high.' I'm tall and still felt like I had to jump up. lol Check-in was smooth with a nice person behind the desk. The internet is not great, like most motels.

Two very nice ladies at the register were beyond friendly and helpful 🙏 The rooms were clean, the bed was comfy. One of the few affordable and safe location hotels to stay in 😇 The pool is getting renovated as of February 2026 and some things were out of order, but overall it’s a nice location and close to everything. It is close to highway and you can hear cars rev and police sirens, but as long as you bring earbuds, you will be fine. Literally someone complained about bed bugs (I didn’t see any) and that the bed was too tall (I’m 5’4 and they are normal height). A lot of people have nothing to complain about, so they make things up 😆

The service was good and the location is amazing, but the room itself was gross. There was mold on the walls, the floor boards were splitting apart, and the smell of the room was bad. I do not recommend staying here.
