Eagle Inn Long Beach

This two-star motel fit our budget and needs for a three-night stay. We appreciated the kindness of staff, cleanliness of the room, hot shower and working wifi. PCH is a popular route for truckers so there is some street noise, but it didn’t bother us. Some eateries and convenience stores are a short walk away, and a bus route will take you right to Long Beach attractions near the water. If you need more amenities look elsewhere, but we saved hundreds by staying here.

I didn’t have to worry about parking or security and very cozy rooms with more than enough space to rest. Highly recommended and wonderful staff and very family friendly. Nearby fast food restaurants, gas stations, beaches, and markets.

It was so bad we stayed 30 minutes and checked out. There were bugs in the bathroom, and homeless camping out in the parking lot. The rooms are nothing like what the picture shows. Again, we should have known it was going to be a problem when we saw homeless people with trash bags full of belongings in the parking lot.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. How in the world does this motel get a “very good” rating? Walls were disgusting, door didn’t close, drug use outside, no lamps in the room, cracked mirror… there are just no words. I really can’t believe I stayed here.
