Dunes Court

Our stay at the Dunes was a wonderful experience...that is until we got home and I realize that aside from the $350 nightly rate, my credit card was charged an additional $100, on the day of checkout, and my card info was manually keyed in!! I have spent days getting the run around, yet nobody can tell me what the charge is for. No offer to refund or credit my card. Obviously, I will have to dispute the charge, as I definitely did NOT present my card for payment for anything other than the room charge! I really thought we had found our place to stay when in OC. Back to square one.

I'll start with the bad, that way I can finish on a good note. We arrived and the parking was difficult to get into with our big truck. If you're not driving a compact car, you're going to experience issues with this. We had to drag the luggage up two flights of stairs to our room (maybe there was an elevator but no one let us know where). The stairwells were gross and very narrow, with chipping paint and sticky floors. Inside the room, it was small, window AC unit was dirty and windows too, so it was difficult to get a view. Bathroom is very small. The pull out sofa mattress was pretty gross with stains and discolorations. We put as many blankets as possible down to barrier. My husband and I and our daughter with down syndrome stayed there in August 2024 for four nights. It was during the white marlin tournament. We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. We have already booked our vacation for this coming August and we are staying six nights this year because it was such a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The pool was great with ample parking available. The beach is so close! I can’t say enough about this place. Highly recommend.

Amazing property for the price, rates were reasonable for the area. Steps away from the boardwalk and the beach. Room was clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of parking and pool was nice. Plenty of things to do near by as it’s located in the heart of mid ocean city. Plenty of shops and restaurants. We’ve been going to Ocean city for years, and this was the first time staying here. We have stayed in the Dunes manor years ago but this was the first time here. No complaints for us. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Hi we stayed Friday-Sunday our stay was to be till Monday but got cut short due to a fire you read that right…a FIRE we were in room 206 and to the right of the stair well about 4 room down in the middle of the night smoke was coming out of a room and we heard fire. A couple was screaming is anyone here or working. No one was in the office or answering. Fire fighters came for a short amount of time acted like it was nothing said it was electrical and that was it. No smoke detectors went off nothing. The manager refused to refund us so we left. We could not stay feeling unsafe with our epileptic 4 year old. With the manager saying it wasn’t that bad. Fire is bad! Smoke is bad! The smoke came from the couples vent they had to be relocated. We will never go back to that location and for safet
