Let's start with the negative reviews about this place being outdated. If you want fancy, go to an actual hotel. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, well run place to sleep to the sounds of the ocean without taking out a second mortgage, this is your place. The rooms were clean and the balcony was the concrete wall style, which is really great when you have pets with you. Family owned and operated, the management was extremely kind and helpful. I left my phone in the room as we were leaving. I had to call the assistance number to get back in 2 hours before they opened. The Manager answered my call(I clearly woke him up) and he was going to gladly come open it for me right then. Except for house keeping threatening to keep $50 of $100 cash deposit over four dishes in the sink, it was great. Great view from the corner room. Updated rooms are nice. House keeping left stuff behind from previous guests tho.. lotto tickets in cabinets food in fridge, hair in tub. Yet tried to ro. Us because we left washed dishes drying in the sink. So use their dishes at your own risk they were most likely washed by a guest not staff. Only a cooktop no oven. Nice deep sink tho.

We rented an apartment for the night! We rented a room before and it wasn’t bad for the cost! We were told by someone doing maintenance work at the motel that there was only one other room rented at the motel for the night. Around 8:30 PM we started hearing some loud voices out side our room but we were watching TV and didn’t think about it! At 10:30 as we started to go to bed we heard more loud voices out side our room on the patio. I looked outside to see about twenty males on the patio and they going in and out of the apartment next to ours that had not been rented when came in to watch TV at 8:30. They continued to be loud for about ten minutes so I went to office to request a room change! As I walked to the office I walked through the small parking lot our car was parked in and the l

1st room was NOT good. Bedding was old & stained with a few dead bugs inside the sheets and bedspread so we asked to be moved since our room was nonrefundable and we had paid for 4 nights. The nice gentleman who worked there not only moved us but upgraded us and in the 2nd room we found no bugs although the bedding still looked old with stains, luckily for us I had brought our own mattress cover, sheets, comforter & pillows from home so we used our own. The room itself appeared fairly clean, towels were white with no stains, AC & Microwave worked well. We didn’t use the coffee maker or stove top. The balcony gave a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. The pool area was beautiful and appeared to have been recently re-done. We had no issue with parking during Thanksgiving weekend & checkout

Positive: The back patio was nice because it has a large patch of grass just a few yards from the ocean. We grilled burgers and are under the full moon. Negative: Yes. The “manager” was an absolute monster. When we checked in she was more than rude, treating us like we were somehow beholden to her for allowing us to check in. She was also unable to process our deposit and was even nastier to us at check out
