DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel New Bern Riverfront

Location location location! Walkable to Tryon Palace or any of the amazing restaurants and shops. The boat tour AND trolley tour both pickup from this hotel- it was so convenient! Stayed for one night in October and already want to come back. The hotel had live music on the patio on a Friday night, the breakfast buffet is incredible and they will make an omelette fresh from the kitchen all you have to do is ask. The staff are all courteous, helpful and professional. The view and all the boats are stunning, I couldn’t get over how lovely it was! The beds seemed more comfortable than other Double Trees! The rooms however were a little old, although they seem well maintained and extremely well cleaned.

This location is great. Nice atmosphere. Room was clean with adequate amenities.

I am so grateful for my stay at Double Tree Hilton Riverfront New Bern. We stayed there October 22nd, 23rd and 24th. The staff brought us comfort from the moment we walked through the door. My husband was scheduled for open heart surgery the morning of the 23rd so it was a blessing to be so close to the hospital. We had to arrive at the hospital at 4:30 am . I felt there were some special angels that work there that were sent to comfort us. I have to mention a few of them because they treated us with kindness and comfort that could have only been sent by angels. Karen who actually took the time to sit down with me, and listen to me, was someone that I will never forget. She took the time out of her busy schedule to just sit and chat for just a few minutes and it brought me such comfort. Sh

We had a wonderful experience at Confluence Riverfront Restaurant thanks to Tommy and Chef Cedric. They were incredibly hospitable, accommodating, professional, and truly welcoming from start to finish.||My daughter ordered the beef Alfredo, and it was amazing—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. I had the seafood scampi, which was outstanding. The shrimp were large, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the seasoning was absolutely spot on.||Excellent service and exceptional food. We’ll definitely be back!

Sejal made every breakfast during my stay a genuinely pleasant experience. She was always warm, attentive, and welcoming, and her positive energy really set a great tone for the day. The service was consistently excellent, and she made guests feel truly cared for.||In addition, the hotel’s beautiful views and excellent location made the stay even more enjoyable. Being close to everything while still offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere was a real highlight. Thank you, Sejal, for your kindness and outstanding service — it was truly appreciated.
