DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cape Cod - Hyannis

Overall, this was a good place to stay for a smaller meeting. The conference room was clean and well lit and laid out. Coffee service/snacks were great. Wifi always worked. The lobby and attached bar were a comfy place for small groups to hang out/meet before and after meals. My room was clean and very quiet (though it was winter!). Location is conveniently central on Cape. It is across the road from the airport so there are infrequent buzzing planes starting at 6:30-7 am. The parking setup can be a little confusing at first, and taking a left out of the hotel can be difficult depending on time of day.

Positive: They let me out of my reservation for which I say thank you. Negative: I booked it as a 4 star and the hotel is 2 or 2.5. Thanks you for letting me out of my booking.

In its day this was probably a great hotel with a couple bars, restaurants, pool, etc. It’s clean but there is only so much you can do to brighten up an older hotel. First floor not great as they have dehumidifiers running in the hallway. Strange layout, like a shoots and ladders game. The service was friendly but execution not great as room service was missed and their group policy disallowed us water even though we were Hilton Honors members. Breakfast was very good and the server at breakfast was excellent.

Another year of bringing our weekly tour groups here and I need to rave about the wonderful service we get here from their amazing staff each visit. Tonight it was Meghan and Bilema with attentive and efficient food service in Vyne. Our other positive encounters have been with breakfast Host John, server AJ, the front desk with Jarod and Ahmed, and the super-fast luggage delivery by the bell staff! We always feel welcomed and appreciated!

My husband and I were very happy with this hotel. What we were not happy about was the massive team of hockey players. I would guess 10ish years old. They played hockey in the hallways for hours. The first night well after the 10pm quiet hour. 10pm is too late for a quiet hour. The second day it has been going on for over 7 hours. It is 9:30pm. The parents are sitting on hallways floors watching them raise hell. 7 hours! I just went out and they don't seem to be phased at all that someone other than their group is in this hotel. It is not the hotels fault that the parents have no consideration for others, but at the very least our room should never have been put near them. I did reach out to the front desk and they were very responsive. I understand they cannot control the lack of parenti
