DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Augusta

I get up at 5 every morning, the breakfast doesn't start till 6. That's fine. I understand... but they refuse to make coffee before 6, no matter how many times I have ask. And i've been asking for all of whole week now.. They say they're manager, told them to not make coffee until 6. From now on..... i'm a diamond member at Hilton, but I'm also an elite member at Marriott.. they always have coffee ready by at least five , no questions asked. And no attitude given when you asked about the coffee in the morning. I'm supposed to be here for 2 months but I I'll be going to the Marriott for the rest of my stay.

Positive: They had competent host who solve all issues the best way possible. Negative: It didn't live up to the doubletree name. My first room wasn't clean. The room they moved me to was better, but the toilet was clogged.

The DoubleTree Inn is absolutely beautiful. The hotel itself is elegant, clean, and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels both peaceful and upscale. The hotel is big and spacious. The Jacuzzi was brilliant—so relaxing and exactly what I needed to unwind. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making the entire stay feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. Room service was excellent, and the food was delicious and well prepared. Everything from the service to the surroundings exceeded expectations. A truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend

My room on the 6th floor had an amazing view. The only issue was that the water never got hot. It stayed just warm no matter how long I ran it. I don't enjoy cold showers... so this was a bit of a let down. I mentioned it at checkout and was told that it was due to folks letting the water run too long......? In a hotel? On a night when there were maybe 5 cars in the parking lot? Ok...... The staff were great tho, especially the bar tender in the restaurant. She was great and she made good recommendations. Please take the fried green tomatoes off the menu tho.... yuck.

Passing through, we were happy to book a two room king suite. The hotel is very attractive & spacious & clean & everyone on staff was incredibly welcoming & nice from checkin to checkout. Room was clean & comfortable. Only the next morning we discovered there was no hot water in the shower. But no hotel phone worked in the room to report it before we had to checkout. Upon checkout, the manager/owner acknowledged the problem & erased all charges without my asking. That was much appreciated & appropriate. It maintains my support for the Hilton brand & for this DoubleTree & its management. ||Because this is a very nice place with wonderful staff, despite the problem, I will happily return. Just will check the hot water first, which is a good idea anywhere!
