Pros : Beautiful skies, beautiful mornings. Very Peaceful and isolated. Great for astrophotography. Cons : Ac not strong enough to get dome below 85 degrees. i want to be comfortable if I'm paying 200.00 a night (300 with cleaning fees and taxes) Great at night though and I'm sure booking in fall would be fine. ...No privacy to use toilet when with a guest , a curtain would be nice. ...A fan would be nice to combat the day time scorching temperatures inside dome. Tip : download offline map, area is without cell service, proved very useful to navigate area.
Stunning views...the best Terlingua experience ever! The dome was even cooler than expected.
