Dhimas Bayview Suites

I booked a room for this hotel 11 months in advance and received an email the week before the event we were supposed to attend stating: “ Unfortunately, we have overbooked and your reservation with Dhimas Bayview Suites needs to be cancelled. We are deeply sorry about this, and we apologize. The $499.00 deposit will be fully refunded immediately. Thank you, Nick - Manager DBS” Dont risk it. Dont book this hotel or you may not have a place to stay. I’m sure they didnt realize Oceans Calling was that weekend 11 months beforehand and once they realized they canceled on us for more income. Poor business decision.

You know what they say, "You get what you pay for." But this made me feel like I overpaid for what we got. My reservation and the website said 2 bedroom apartment with 2 double beds per room plus the pull out couch, full kitchen, and satellite TV.||||Well, we got what felt like the in-laws shack in the back with 1 bedroom with 2 double beds (the other bedroom was nailed shut...) and a pull out sofa that looked like it was straight from Goodwill. Then the "full" kitchen had a rough-looking fridge, microwave, and stove (which I believe they only cleaned the top surface of it because everything else was beyond filthy) and a table with 3 dirty chairs. The "full" kitchen included 3 forks, 2 knives, 1 spoon, 1 pot and 1 pan that we did NOT want to use, and 3 spices that were stored under the sin

We we're there for the Great Marlin Open 8/3/25-8/8/25 it was VERY CLEAN. We actually did some exercises on the floor!! The maintenance man, Daniel was very nice but the Manger Nick stole the show. We locked ourselves out of the room after office hrs and he came over with a smile. The hotel was an easy walk to the boardwalk. They we're working on a gas station at the time so crossing the street was a little tricky. If you don't want to Jay walk cross under the well lit underpass and follow the sidewalk up to board walk. The other advantage to these suits is that the have a very efficient setup. It has a refrigerator small sink and microwave. It really wrestled with a 1 star review because this hotel has beautiful rooms with awesome location for a great deal. Didn’t even mind having to pay for parking. We really loved it up until the end. After housekeeping was let in (despite the DND sign) I had a small bottle of expensive perfume come up missing. I was weary at first because of course things get misplaced but after looking everywhere and cleaning out the room I never found it. I spoke with the owner and he dismissed my claims saying ‘the girl’ who cleaned our room had been there 3 months without incident and there was no way she’d taken anything. I still haven’t found my perfume. We won’t be staying there again. It’s a shame too because everything was great besides that.

Rude and unprofessional. Calls and texts from a cell phone and blows you up about when your arriving as if hes doing you a favor. We were unsure about exact time of arrival because we were traveling with a baby 2 states away in the middle of a tropical storm. The reviews had me skeptical but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. He is Money hungry with no customer service. Save your money and go to a more reputable establishment.
