Deluxe Oceanfront Motel & Cottages

First of all we made the reservations in November of 2022 to stay in a cabin. She gave us cabin #11 and received a confirmation email. We saw pictures of it and it looked nice. The deposit and the final payment were both paid on time. Then about a week before arrival Brenda emailed and said she would be in contact with us to give us the code to get into the cabin 5 days prior to arrival. Never heard from her. Tried calling her, Air bnb and email with no response. We left to head to Maine not knowing if we actually had a place to stay. There were 7 of us. She finally emailed us while we were on the road heading there. Talk about stressful! We finally got there and they told us she switched us to cabin #6 when we were supposed to be in #11! She said someone was in cabin 11, so she obviously

Right on the beach. The lower rooms are below the beach in the 'basement'. You can see our casement windows to the beach but you cannot sit inside and watch the water. The 'manager' had just left the company so that may have affected the service. The beds were not made. Also, there were no mats to clean your sandy feet. So the sand was everywhere. At one point the passage between buildings was roped off. I guess non-guests were walking through there to get to the beach but it made it difficult for us to get through with baggage. There was a lot of mold in the shower and the stove was dirty with crumbs and splatters.

Haven't checked out yet and so far loving our stay, will update after check out, here are some views Update, checked out today. Dont worry about towels, they provide so many and easy to receive more, just leave the dirty ones in the basket providedon the deck and they deliver new full basket. Same with your trash, they provide a large barreling deck, I was easily able to take our bag out onto deck into the large barrel and they'd remove like magical elves. On Wednesday they come with more trash bags and paper towels. The cabin was small but you were never no more than 200 steps from the waters edge. The view and beach is incredible. The bathroom is small but you adjust. Shower only, keep in mind if kids on visit. Bedrooms small too but closets and small built in bureau in each. Small com

Old school Maine at its best! Walk out your back door onto the beach. The unit was extremely clean and the staff was wonderful. The unit provided everything we could ask for to assist us in making this a great stay. From the grills, to the fire pits and outdoor seating areas, you can put together a wonderful stay. This was a family vacation and we all had a blast. ||||No complaints whatsoever. We will be returning as soon as we can!

We loved it! ||We celebrated a 90th birthday, a retirement, an anniversary and another birthday. This was the perfect place to relive old memories and create new ones. ||We rented unit 8 and 9 and loved everything about the place. The beach and scenery were beautiful. The location was fantastic and just far away from the pier to have a lot of space on the beach but, close enough to walk to the pier when we wanted. ||The fire pits and picnic tables and private area to kick back and relax every night was a great bonus. ||The units were neat and clean and had plenty of towels and a lot of small bottles of shampoo/conditioner and makeup remover that you might expect at a 5 star hotel but never thought I would see at a beachfront cottage.||Anna was a text away and very responsive with any quest
