Del-Mar Airport Inn & Suites

The exterio, lobby, and rooms look nice and new, but it is lipstick on a pig. We walk into the room and it looks nice, hut several lights in the room weren't working. The tub was rusty and dirty. There was garbage in the dresser drawers. There was only one towel. We asked for more but there were none. And there is no breakfast, but the listing on Hotels.com says there is. I won't be staying here again and I suggest you don't, either.

One of the worst experiences ever!! When we arrived at 5:15pm the door was locked, we had to wait 10 mins for someone to open the door. The lady at the desk was rude, while she was checking us in she was on her phone, she didn’t speak and never apologized for us having to wait. The hallway upstairs smelled of mildew. The room we checked in the toilet didn’t work, the tub was nasty, no pillowcases on the pillows. We were moved to a different room across the hall. They do not offer breakfast even though when booking it says they do. Thank God for the family dollar across the street. We had to buy our own tissue because we never received the tissue we asked for. She said the cleaning people were gone and she couldn’t open the door..I am highly disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, customer service was 1/10, cleanliness -1/10, the location was ok no problems there and the amenities were a 2.5/10. It was last minute but I will not stay at this hotel ever again even if my life depended on it.

My husband and I stayed one night and we were very impressed. When we arrived, we were told that our original room was not available but he upgraded us without any extra charge. The room was very large and very clean. The beds ( 2 queen ) were very comfy and each bed had 4 pillows which were also better than any I've had in other hotels. We have no complaints at all and if we are in the area again, we will definitely be returning. Would highly recommend

Worst stay and experience I've ever had in 35 years. Room that I originally checked into , door would not open at all , was moved to a different room , was told I would receive my deposit back in 5-10 business days and have not received my deposit back, if your thirsty or hungry better bring your own because they don't have anything there worst breakfast in man kind. The ladies at the front desk don't know anything except having men they allow in a room, they sneak off too and are never at the counter for help when you need them. The floor I stayed on smelled like 4/20
