Decorah High Point Cabins

My husband and I decided to do a getaway for our Christmas present to each other this past year because we've never been on a trip just the two of us. I had seen Decorah cabins on Instagram and thought it would be fun because its close, but not too close and we love cabin vibes. Umm this was the best idea we ever had. It has the most beautiful views, the cabin is the perfect size for 2, the bed was amazing! Best sleep I've had in years! The hot tub was awesome with the view. My only wish is that I booked us for longer because we had such an amazing time, but was definitely cut too short. Thank you so much Decorah Cabins! We will definitely be back and I'm telling everyone I know about you guys. They were so prepared and thoughtful and we are so grateful to have had this experience 💗

Everything was communicated well from reserving through check in and check out. We stayed in the Aspen cabin. It was remote and a great, secluded place to view wildlife and hang out in the hot tub. The cabin was super clean and cozy. It was an amazing, relaxing, comfortable stay…we only wish we would have been able to stay longer!

Beautiful Cabin in a beautiful setting, overpriced. ||Pros:|Gorgeous scenery with bunnies and fawns frolicking in the yard. |Hot tub is clean and relaxing. |Cabin is spotless. |Cute decor. Very “modern farmhouse”. |Bed is UNBELIEVABLY comfortable. |Bottle of wine left for us was a nice touch. ||Cons:|Overpriced for what’s there. |You’re first greeted by a sign explaining how to thaw the lock with a hairdryer in the winter. Not a deal breaker, but for $300-$400 a night, everything should work. |Couch has frumpy slipcover, chaise lounge is microfiber and torn. Surprising since the cabin is marketed as “luxury”, expecting luxurious furniture. |And lastly, the checkout rules have you wash all dishes, take out the trash, and strip the bed! Even have to add chemicals to the hot tub yourself! Do

The most peaceful and beautiful place to spend a weekend with the husband. The cabin was clean and inviting. The customer service was top notch. We booked another weekend visit before we left. I cannot wait to see the view in the fall.

My husband and I stayed one night in Emerald Cabin, and it was truly a "gem." The decor was lovely, warm and inviting. The kitchen was well set up with dishes for 2. The view was absolutely beautiful. While we were in the hot tub, a couple of deer sauntered by. Even tho there are a little grouping of cabins out there, the set up and positioning of the homes made you feel very secluded and a part of the beautiful fall landscape. Would totally recommend!
