Days Inn by Wyndham Staten Island

This hotel is completely disgusting!! Rooms are dirty. Hair from previous people was everywhere. The floors, shower walls, conditioner pumps. EVERYWHERE!!! I had to clean the toilet seat and the room chair soon as I got there. No iron or ironing board when I requested one. The walls are paper thin. I do not recommend anyone to stay here. There is no parking lot. Next time I come to Staten Island I will definitely be staying at a nicer hotel in either Manhattan or New Jersey. I'm willing to pay the extra money to have a clean room and hotel.Get a better cleaning service.

I wish we could give you a minus!!! This place was a dump. Rude people transients hanging around everywhere. Construction all around the property. Disgusting I am a 28 year old woman traveling alone I had never felt so unsafe at an hotel and I travel around the world. I know days inn has a bad reputation but some are real nice. The description of the property This is not what I paid for. The property would not give me my money back. I was willing to pay for the first night even though I got out of there as fast as I could. Had to go looking for another hotel late at night. I have not given up on my refund. My dates were nov 14-17. Mercedees D

The hotel is fairly new and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathtub was clean and when I showered there was plenty of hot water. The staff at the front desk were helpful and nice. The only reason I give this a four star is the beverage machine in the lobby was not stocked well and was not working well. Everything was so cold that all the bottles in there were frozen solid. It was just too cold. Need to get down early for the free breakfast, because once something hot is gone, that's it. Otherwise, everything was fine.

I stayed here for a vacation, and it was a fairly average experience. The rooms and staff service were perfectly fine (3 stars each), but the location wasn’t ideal for easy sightseeing (2 stars). It works well as a base for sleeping, but be prepared for extra travel time to reach major tourist spots.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. If I could give a separate rating for them, I would give them five stars. Additionally, the guestroom was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I got a good night's sleep. Despite some reviews complaining about noise, I didn't notice any. My husband, our friends, and I were surprised by the "slightly more than continental breakfast." We had a short but pleasant stay despite any complaints I could muster up:||-Lack of parking- we found it unusual that a hotel of this size doesn't offer it's guests a lot or parking garage. We managed to find street parking around the corner but then were afraid we might lose our spot if we drove anywhere.|-There aren't any valet carts. It's probably because there's only so much you can put in your room anyway. We
